Resolving Password Issues
If you forgot your Microsoft Password
using a different internet enabled device: Go to account.live.com/password/resetFollow the prompts and select "forgot password".
Microsoft will send you a code to reset your password or PIN.
Use this new password or PIN to access your computer.
Local Account doesn't have Adminitrator rights
Verify storage memory (C:) is unencrypted... turn off bitlocker Windows 11 01/05/26 Use search and type bitlocker. Select Device Encryption. Turn off Device encryption.
Reboot to Hirens Boot Disk to activate the Local Administrator Account
Reboot and log into the Local Administrator Account. Open Edit users and change the Local Account from Standard User Account to Administrator
Log Out and log into Local Account
Forgot Password for Local Account
Verify storage memory (C:) is unencrypted... turn off bitlocker Windows 11 01/05/26 Use search and type bitlocker. Select Device Encryption. Turn off Device encryption.
Reboot to Hirens Boot Disk and change password so the account does not have a password.
Turn off computer, remove Hirens disk and start computer.
Select Local Account and then reset password
